Dreaming of Autumn.
The heat starts to taper off around this time in Atlanta. Well, at least it has in previous years. With record temperatures this year, the southern summer has long overstayed its welcome. To aid its departure, we dusted off our dutch ovens and hung the colors of autumn on our walls.
A couple of weeks ago, I started dreaming of beef stew, its hearty layers of steak and carrots in a thick broth of slow-cooked goodness. I realized then that this photoshoot was in order. If I could just send a bat signal to mother nature of artistic intensity, perhaps she would comply and grant my wish for a crisp breeze with a side of beef stew.
Voila, the high is 65 today!
