Houston's Holiday Series

Every year, Houston has created a limited edition holiday Spiritile to celebrate the essence of the season. Early on, being able to create art and survive in a tough market was blessing enough for Houston. Those first three years weren't easy, so he marked making it to the end of each year by creating a "Gift."

Over time, each year's design evolved with the holidays, homaging motifs that Houston saw out in the world and sought to represent in his work. Themes of kindness, giving, and love focused our attention on the simple, important elements of the holidays, and enveloped us in their warmth.

This year, Houston ventured into the holiday season and realized the theme of his special piece should be about coming together. He said that the moment we reach the doorstep of a loved one and raise our hand to the door, hearing the resounding tap, waiting in anticipation for the open door, the smile, the hug, the "come on in" - THAT is our holiday treasure.
